Leading the Fight Against Sepsis

Brie’s Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to saving lives through sepsis awareness, early detection, and compassionate support for those navigating life after limb loss.

The group includes two adults, a woman with short black hair in a striped dress, a man with short brown hair in a gray shirt, two boys, and a baby girl. The younger boy is holding a tablet, the older boy is wearing a red polo shirt, and the baby girl is dressed in light blue being held by the man. There are green plants in the foreground and a house with large windows in the background.

After what seemed like flu symptoms, Brie Morgan Bauer faced a life-threatening infection while giving birth. She survived streptococcal toxic shock syndrome…but lost all four limbs.

Through unimaginable challenges, Brie’s story became one of resilience, advocacy, and hope. Today, she’s using her voice to make sure no one faces sepsis or STSS alone.

Her fight sparked a movement.
